Death here is very strange. It is not this way back home, if Sensei would of hurt himself back home at the base he would of respawned in minutes. H-here...I don't even know if he's going to come back.

Not stupid. Selfish? We can all be selfish at times. It is human nature, it is proof of what we are. You'd be surprised how many of us lose our emotions. Compassion, affection, crying--to name a few, it's some I've seen fade away in my line of work.

I do not know how much longer I can stay sane myself. I'm not nearly as old as Medic or had as many years experience working for RED, but the feeling of 'death' is one hard for me to process. I could crack someday, just like he did.
[ she remains quiet. but in the next few moments, she's coming in through the door and putting her 3STP into her pocket. She runs over to Pyro and practically tackles her in a hug. ]
I'll make sure you stay sane. Okay? I don't want you to die ...
[Placing a hand on her forehead after she was tackled, Pyro patted the teen girl's head. Her hair was so soft and long...she, herself couldn't even remember a time when she had a feminine hair cut and now she had no hair at all.]
I've died many times Hana-chan. Even that is understating it. I've experienced death in the thousands. Each new life I take scares me less and less. When you know what it is like to die, you do not fear it.
[Changing the subject, she did her best to smile.]

Well, okay, maybe not an authority, but I collected a lot of fashion magazines and it was a hobby of mine to be fashionable. S'part of the reason why Lucia calls me her Mini-her back home, though I'm honestly nothing like her.
