[Sniper had finished his eggs and a single muffin by the time he realized Pyro was asleep, having pointedly kept his eyes on his plate to avoid actually having to talk to her. Yes, the food was good, but that didn't mean he wanted to have a conversation about it, especially when it was clear she wanted him to eat as much of it as possible. By the time he did glance at her, she was already nodding off.
His mind wandered. For a moment, he'd considered seeing if he could find something she would eat or drink, and lacing it with sleeping medication. She'd get some much-needed rest, he'd possibly have a night without her hanging on him; it was a win-win scenario as far as he was concerned.
On the other hand, there was some nagging sense of morality that told him drugging the girl to sleep, even if she'd had a rough day where her friend— possibly more, and he shuddered at that thought— had disappeared without a trace was not a good decision, especially when she apparently trusted him more than he trusted her. He reconsidered his options- after all, as pesky as she could be, she did genuinely seem to have his best interests at heart. Sometimes.
Maybe if he was quiet about it, he could make it back to the bedroom without disturbing her. At least come back and give her a blanket before climbing into bed for the remainder of the night.
That plan in mind, he slid out of his chair as noiselessly as possible, using his crutch to get to his feet.]
