Sensei is gone. There was a stuffed panda in his lab waiting for me.

I can't find him anywhere. I've looked everywhere I can possibly think of. I don't know where he could of wondered off to.

By chance, did he come over to your house BLU? That's the last place left I can think of. I've exhausted all my other options, I don't want to think that he left me too.

[But in case it does make her feel better, he sets the communicator down for a moment. He can be seen adjusting some pillows and settling in before pulling the phone back to him.]

There. Didn't even have to give me another strike.

Good, now Jell-O won't have to babysit you since you're acting your age.

[Video] He'd do just about anything to avoid Jell-O babysitting him.

[He mumbles something mostly incoherent about how a man his age shouldn't be stuck in a house being bossed around by a wad of slime.]

I'm fairly sure I'll be warm enough, thank you. Tell the doc I need to talk to him when you find him.

[And he's hanging up before this conversation gets any more awkward.]

[It would be late night by the time Pyro got herself back home to Sniper and her child, Jell-O. Dragging her feet as she entered, the woman slammed the door behind her and threw the keys on the couch. Everything around her looked blurry after the intensive sob fit she had been having on and off the last 12 hours.

Heading up the stairs, Pyro immediately went to her room and began to embrace Sniper on the bed. Clinging ho him tightly with both her arms wrapped over his chest, she began to sniffle.]

[Sniper was startled from his nap— one which had been going better than any sleep he'd had in the past few days, courtesy of drugs and the lack of Pyro next to him— as her arms wrapped around him. He rubbed his eyes, reflexively pulling away from her as much as possible.]

Pyro? Wh—

[It wasn't her presence that surprised him- her quiet sobs did. His muddled mind but together what that meant: she hadn't found Medic.]

Sensei is never coming back. He's gone for good. His phone isn't getting a signal anymore and I can't find him no matter where I look.

[Nuzzling her head against his back, she whimpered repeatedly.]

I didn't even get to say goodbye, it's not fair.

Well, that's— ah. Mm.

[It's one thing for him to just wander off to find some privacy- even with his blatant attachment to Pyro, Sniper couldn't blame him for wanting some alone time if this was how she treated everyone she was fond of; however, if his phone lost its signal, that couldn't be good.]

Maybe it broke. Or he went outta range or something.

But why wouldn't he tell me anything? That's not like him. He'd at least tell me where he was going and not to come.

[And the she would follow him everytime he told her not to.]

Sensei wouldn't be that mean to me, I think...

[The closeness of her body was as near as it was going to get to his. The warmth of her frame pressing up behind his own was something Pyro thought nothing of. Sniper was just an over-sized teddy bear. As her hot breath touched his neck, she sighed before leaning her head inwards and nipping him lightly against the lobe of his ear like a dog.]

Mr. Hawk, don't get my hopes up! I'll just be let down.

[Even with Pyro bringing him into an awkward topic against his will (as usual), Sniper had thought she might cry herself out and go to sleep, and that he wouldn't have to bother even trying the delicate art of comforting her- he wasn't any good at it, anyway. When one spent nearly all of his time living in solitude and caring only for himself, he forgot how to deal with others, especially in situations that required a certain degree of tact. Having little experience dealing with women in general wasn't helping matters.

Given that and his own tiredness, he'd thought briefly he might be able to doze off again, even with her pressing herself against his back, the heat of her body making him almost uncomfortably warm. He closed his eyes as he shifted, trying to move his knee to where she wasn't bumping into it. It was as he did that she nipped him on the ear, giving him a very sudden wake-up call.

He pulled away from her, turning around, gritting his teeth against the pain that shot through his elbow as he pressed on his arm.]

What was that for?

What? I just bit you a little bit. Is something wrong?

[It was a playbite, simple as that. Why would Sniper get mad at something so insignificant as that? Did he prefer to get slapped in the face?]

[Pointing at him, she laughed at his request.]

Or how about this- don't do either of those. Or save them for your pal, Medic. You can bite him all you like when he gets back.

[He wasn't entirely sure Medic was ever coming back, but he wasn't about to say that to Pyro- admitting it made it more real somehow, and the thought that they were the only two REDs left didn't sit comfortably with him. It wasn't that he was attached to her or anything, or that he'd miss her if she disappeared; however, the more he thought about it like that, the worse his gut felt about it.]

[Scooting towards the end of the bed, Pyro turned away from him and looked down at Jell-O who had decided to make the rug his bed. Taking a few deep breaths, she attempted to calm herself down. Why did Sniper's words always hurt her so much? She didn't understand why... but... ]

Don't be mean. What did I tell you about being mean?

[Turning back around, she held out three fingers on one hand before cupping her hand into the form of an O to represent zero.]

You're out.

[Grabbing his arms, Pyro leapt on top of the man with careful precision in order not to smash his legs. With either of hers on both sides of his, she kept him pinned to bed and smiled.]

Now what should your punishment be? A kiss from Jell-O?

[Before he could put together the fact he was on his third strike, Pyro had grabbed his arms and straddled him, pushing him down and pinning him to the bed. He writhed under her grip for a moment before turning his wounded elbow in some way that aggravated his injury. He stifled a cry of pain, still trying to wrench himself from her.]

Pyro, knock it off! This is ridiculous!

[Pyro was in a bitchy mood now. With Medic gone, she felt like burning the whole damn place down. If she couldn't use her flamethrower to stop her misery without harsh consequences she only had Sniper left to pick on.]

Now, look here. You could get a kiss from me instead, but I'm sure you'll prefer my blob to a filthy arsonist like myself. I'm being rather lenient in my punishment and you will accept it.

[He stopped twisting beneath her for a moment, his eyes locking on hers as her tone darkened. She was apparently serious, in spite of her playful manner only seconds before. He was quickly learning her mood changed at the drop of a hat.

He looked away, taking a deep breath as he considered his options. She wasn't getting off him anytime soon, and he had no way of wriggling from her, despite his best efforts. That left actually appeasing her and hoping she'd release him- and with his elbow beginning to ache, he was starting to consider it.]

... Do I get a choice? Because I'd rather not have your blob anywhere near me.

[She wasn't expecting that response. The blob seemed like the only option for him. Why on Earth would he agree to it? More so, why had she ever opened her fat mouth and given that as an option? It was supposed to be a joke. If she said no now, she'd look like she was giving him the upper hand. She couldn't do that.]

You can kiss me. But aren't you aware? A Pyro's lips are just as hot as touching flames. I could quite literally burn your mouth off.

I don't believe your blob has anything that even counts as lips, to be perfectly fair.

[Not that he wanted to kiss Pyro either- it was first and foremost improper, with her not only being a coworker, but also over a decade his junior. Secondly, he wasn't fully convinced Medic was indeed gone, and having seen the doctor's reaction to an accusation of jealousy? Or the way he interacted with her at the party? Another man had his eyes on her, one RED wasn't interested in crossing.

On the other hand, Pyro was admittedly intimidating. He was still in no physical condition to argue too much, and she had shown she was capable of getting what she wanted whether he liked it or not. As he turned his eyes from her, he found his communicator in the room. It was sitting on the nightstand, but calling for help with her right there was ten bad decisions in one. He wasn't sure how a kiss was punishment to anyone but him, given his definite avoidance of other people, but perhaps that was why she insisted on it. I occurred to him she knew what she was doing more than she let on.

He sighed. Somewhere, he was sure that he'd be laughed for his indecision: here, he was presented the chance for some intimacy with a girl— not even a bad-looking one— as some kind of bizarre punishment he couldn't quite wrap his head around, and as usual, his own reservations held his leash. Most would have just kissed her and been done with it rather than still looking for ways to avoid it altogether. Then again, he wasn't like most people he knew- he wasn't interested in any sort of attachment with another person. It complicated matters that didn't need to be complicated, especially when it involved a coworker. He was a professional, and this was improper.

Another breath. This wasn't anything personal. It was just one quick kiss, and she'd hopefully be off him. It was nothing more than that.]

You could always get off me without a punishment, you know. Maybe I've learned my lesson this time.

Sorry, but you're incorrect. I can't simply just let you go free or you'd never learn.

[But that didn't mean she wanted to kiss him on the lips. That was... too strange. He wasn't cute like Jell-O. He was old, lanky, smelt funny and never smiled. That wasn't... attractive.

Not that comrades should be attractive.

There was nothing good about Sniper at all. He was... just bothersome but she put up with it. That must be the only reason. Why else would she keep a watchful eye over him and pet his head? He was her teammate. She was just doing what she could as Pyro.

Turning her face away, the more she thought on it the more she started to burn. The hands that were pinning him down began to shake as Pyro whimpered. What on earth was wrong with her? She felt that burning feeling again.]

Aah...it's... it's hot... make it stop. It's weird...

[His eyes trailed to the hands that held him to the bed, their shaking felt through his entire arm. As her faced reddened, his was colored with confusion.]

[It was then Sniper started to look uncomfortable himself- well, more so than since she'd straddled him, anyway. A part of him tried to convince himself it was just something with her and the way she showed affection. After all, she had the mind of a child.

But under that facade was a damaged woman, hiding years of hurt behind a mask. It wasn't all that different from his own method of dealing with his problems, when he thought about it, which was exactly what he didn't want to do. He didn't need any reason to believe actually attempting some kind of camaraderie— friendship, even— with her was a good idea, because it wasn't. He had lost all desire for companionship of any kind long ago, whether it was from people or pets or even his parents. He didn't need anyone.

And perhaps that was why her statement made him so uncomfortable. She had been looking into adult literature for Engineer, and Medic had made how he felt about her clear. How had she felt about the doctor? Or him, for that matter?

He kept his eyes off her, feigning ignorance.]
